whoohoo!! term 2 has just passed QUITE peacefully!! now, with no more lessons to add on the homework load,i can focus more on getting unfinished things done!! (=

life after JAE is pretty scary!! lectures and tutorials went into full swing and no more fooling around!! ppl are getting more and more serious..and scarier and scarier..it's really tiring to judge people and know their true colours..it's quite sad when you know that the person that u've been with is like ...that...

band is getting more and more hectic but drum bunnies are always making me laugh!! they keep 'accusing' me of making them ROFL..which it's not true lah..but today sth seriously hilariously but embarrassing happened to me during combine!!

it was during GLOBAL VARIATIONS at the mass WHOO YA part!! i was supposed to hit the rhythm for the next bar..but the space was really small and i couldn't squeeze my way through to the snare drum in time..and in the end...i SHOUTED out LOUD the rhythm 'TAM! TAM! TAM!'. i was so shocked and the whole clarinet section turned around to see who's making the weird noise..super super MALU!! and ms feng seemed rather displeased with me for the entire band prac cos she kept glaring at me during pieces...sigh..and now, it became the joke of the day for the drum bunnies.

nvm the embarrassing part..today's band prac was TIRING cos we played the whole repertoire once without stopping..and the percussionists had to keep running around for their different instruments..and wasted a lot of time..in other words, i think hoho was also angry with us bah.yupps.im starting to like perc ensemble more and more!! there's TEQUILA[timpani] and LORD OF THE DANCE[bells]!! two super cool pieces!! luckily geraldine switched parts with me otherwise i'll be struggling at the mallet part..yay!! stage band performance is going to hilarious..there's a story plot and we're gg to play with that!! and band ppl dancing too!! pray hard that ETUDE is going to be a blast and a starting point for my JC life and cos so many crescent band juniors and friends and classmates are coming to watch and support >.<

i've been following the news of the SiChuan earthquake in CHina and the cyclone Nargis in Myanmar..it's really heart-wrenching when so many innocent lives are taken away and homes are completely destroyed in just a few minutes..it comes to show that human beings can never go against the work of nature..it's really scary to be trapped inside the rubble and have to survive on your urine, mud and insects to survive..i seriously wouldn't have the courage to do that..but what is really touching is that people[strangers] from around the world are doing their best to help them lead normal lives again. i think the myanmar gov is just acting on paranoia that the outside world will overthrow them..who asked them to be such inefficient rulers and didn't act promptly when disasters struck..now the myanmar people are trapped in this situation whereby they cant get any external and internal help..really hope that ASEAN can do a good job in helping the myanmar victims.

yay!! next two weeks will be fully dedicated to MUSIC!! MUSIC IS ALL AROUND US..ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS..LISTEN...
