wow!! the whole percussion section was praised by by PROFESSOR KOMIYAMA!! we were all over the moon. prof komiyama came to listen to our choice piece for SYF [Da Pacem Domine]. this piece, as he said, is very very dramatic. then he was teasing my expressions when playing. however, he praised percussion for being able to 'support' the whole band!! yay!! we were all beaming after that. good job percussion!!
